Roger Poisson* was called to live a life of evangelical poverty, and the evangelical counsels since 1989. During this time he laboured as a lay apostle among the native peoples (First Nations of Canada), in Winnipeg and especially on the Sandy Bay Reservation. He is most highly regarded, esteemed and loved by the native peoples for his dedication and loving ministry to them and to their cause.
Roger has done what the Lord has asked him to do. He has worked unceasingly since 1989 until his passing on March 6th, 2011, helping anyone with problems, no matter how severe. He did not do the work himself. He received Divine Guidance. Any problem concerning anything can be answered. It is not prophecy. It is the working of God through man to change the hearts of man. Roger was not paid to do this work. He existed on donations from others. To reach people, his travels on earth had taken Roger around the world and now in spirit he is everywhere. He met with anyone, groups of people, to spread the messages of God. He has recorded many of these messages. Some of them have been typed into book form called, "The Master's Facts", "Supernatural Political Revelations by Self-Denial" and "Words of Wisdom". There have been hundreds of emotional and physical healings which have occurred through the messages. All of this work has been done through a man who slept no more than a few hours each night.
Roger had, and has, a deep devotion to the Sacred Face of Jesus in the Shroud of Turin, and since 1989, he expended much time in studying this image. Hence the name "Mission of the Shroud". He had done extensive photographic work on the face of Christ from a photograph of the Shroud of Turin. This work has never been done before. Hundreds of spiritual and biblical images have been revealed through the one photograph upon which Roger was guided to work. He was told to enlarge portions of the photograph of the Shroud or to magnify portions of the face in varying levels of intensity. From this guidance, he was given images of Jesus teaching in the temple in Jerusalem, Jesus on the cross, images of Mary, pictures of angels, the infant Jesus, Abraham, the Pope, Mother Theresa, images of "ordinary" people and even a beautiful image of Santa Claus given to him during Christmas Season. Roger was told that the image on the Shroud contains all of the information that humanity needs. It will be understood as a blueprint for humanity.
There are many people in many countries connected to Roger's work as the Mission of the Shroud and word of God continues to work in people's lives.

*It has been written that Roger Poisson was once a wealthy man. In truth, he had nothing. Today, he is has nothing but is the wealthiest man in the world.
