Written Testimonies of the Mission

Revelations

To Whom It May Concern;

I am writing this testimonial on behalf of F. Roger Poisson. Although I met him personally only at the beginning of January 1998, I have had the opportunity over these past several months to come to know his life story and to meet with and to speak to many who have known Roger over the past several years.

Following his conversion experience on Pentecost Sunday, 1989, Roger was called to live a life of evangelical poverty, and evangelical counsels. For the past nine years, he has laboured as a lay apostle among the native peoples (First Nation of Canada), in Winnipeg and especially on the Sandy Bay Reservation. He is most highly regarded, esteemed and loved by the native peoples for his dedication and loving ministry to them and to their cause.

In this time, he has developed a deep devotion to the Sacred Face of Jesus in the Shroud of Turin, and in these past nine years, he has expended much time in studying the image. I am very impressed by the slides and pictures that he has extracted from the image of the Face of Jesus in his possession. I have had the opportunity to observe firsthand his scientific investigation, and can vouchsafe for the integrity of his work.

He has developed a new technique of photography, and he has applied this new technique in the investigation of images of blood, etc. in investigating unsolved crimes. I spoke to the chief of forensic of the Metropolitan Winnipeg Police, who expressed that he was very impressed by the rigorous and scientific method and findings of Mr. Poisson in this investigation.

Mr. Poisson is an authentic Christian who leads a profoundly Christian and spiritual life in deep union with the Lord and the Blessed Mother.

Respectfully yours,

Bishop Roman Danylak
