If all this seems to you complicated, as we acclaim the Métis to be a nation, the record of peacefulness and good functioning could be the blueprint to a new Canada.
We wanted to accentuate on Riel and the Métis because Riel believed strongly in his faith and he was very close to the Church, the Catholic Church, where he had taken his spiritual routes and love for his neighbour, somewhat as Jesus did. We need to return to these foundations with the Church, where the young may learn by visualizing in the humans the word that would have become the flesh, rather than read stories and never see the facts.
Bravo to Riel for the true example in honesty and respect for the Natives, as all people in an equal matter as Christ did and as we must.
Thank you for reading.

For the Master

Riel, the role model for unity that was presented in 1885, at the beginning of a search for unity to begin a new nation (united).
If we look at Riel in depth, you will find that prior to Riel people of both sides, Native & White somehow became united to form a united nation (Métis). Riel was well accepted by the Natives, so are we at the mission and that the proof is every Métis person in this land. How many would you say there are? We assume to be called a nation. It has to be in the thousands, perhaps hundreds of thousands. Therefore, we have that many examples as in Riel, that native and white could be family. Perhaps we need to reach out to everyone of them to discover how to be united as they are.
Statistics tell us that the Métis population have the lowest divorce rate and yet, the lowest abortion rate. Aren’t we touching the issue of unity, abortion and family function? Don’t they all fall in the spectrum of medicare?
We could also mention justice.
