I guess it would be simple if we were its maker. We’d have a good idea on how not to do the same thing again. Would we create a new one or fix this one? And if we say, “Fix this one”, if we know how, why didn’t we do it in the first place? “Strange questions”, you may say. If you plant a seed in the ground and you know that it will bloom, why don’t we just make it bloom, instead of seeding? In nature (and should we say “creation”) anything that grows, however it grows, takes time but most of all it’s the caring and the love that gives it the proper direction and if not, then the wrong direction. At creation there was a birth that is to last forever, since we hear of everlasting life. Wouldn’t you love to live forever? So how do we change this world? Some believe that finding all the wrongs in others is the way to begin. But could anyone have the strength to change a wrong into a right without anger, judgment and condemnation? Everyday people come here telling us of all the wrongs of the world. Obviously they must know the right way! But since we need role models to learn from, becoming the right way ourselves would be the role model to make changes. Impatience, judgment and anger strips one from the possibilities of modeling an opposite side to wrongs. Why do we say these things? Where are we going with these things? Some are angry with the Da Vinci Code movie, others are angry about all the wrongs in the Church, others are against abortion, homosexuality – everybody else’s sins but your own. Let us be honest for a moment (it may seem like a year, but we’re saying a moment): Is there anyone that has not ever wished to do wrong? Let’s say, committing “sins”, this bad word of others. Many will say “no”, but statistics show that not one marriage is stable and we mean by stable “ultimately happy, 24 hours a day, into forever.” So the divorce statistic that breaks down marriages; that creates abortions, juvenile delinquency, where now we find even in Churches, Pastors and Priests fearing to speak out but we mean in a way of evangelization, not condemnation. You will hear Pastors say: “Get divorced. See a psychiatrist. See a counselor, because we are unqualified for such.” Strangely, when we speak of the Holy Spirit we have learned in Churches that He is the counselor, the comforter, the peacemaker and the giver of wisdom. Is this how counselors function, by the Holy Spirit? Did the Churches ask the Holy Spirit to get his wings going and go to the counselors? “Because we are not counselors,” they say. You cannot change a sore unless you approach it with love, caring and justification. This article is, in a way, telling everyone if you have no solution, don’t become part of the problem by judgment, neglect and abandonment. The power of healing a nation is to reach deep within; to look for the troubles with love in your heart for everyone needs to discover the better side of themselves, rather than being announced to that they are as bad as can be. To end with the words of the Lord (very simple): See no evil and hear no evil. But look at the good in everyone. Then you’ll have the answer to their problems. Thank you for reading.
