A father begins by a little girl that is attracted to arms that she never knew; that her dreamful expectations makes her believe that you are fit to be her father. As she lets go of her heart, to the embrace within her dream: where sometimes it is unnoticed for man is of his own until he finds a mother in her. As they begin to venture in life, a need to be born again begins
in their hearts. Though unknowing of how to create by the power
of love, they venture in the limited expression of physical emotions,
where many children are born. A father is one who is permitted long in his life, to be allowed to be called such because he recognizes those who reach out with their arms to him as the little girl that first entered his life, seeking the fathering I him that never came. “Call no one of this world ‘father’”, a great man said one day, “for there is only one true Father.” Today as a father, I wish to reach to the heart of all the fatherless, including me who was nurtured through a heart of love to feel as a child in order to know in Mr. Mom or Mrs. Dad in what it is like to be loved by a father. So today, being a father, to all the children of the world is having the permission to love them, to treasure them above myself as my children who may know this for the first time. So Father’s Day, every man should get up and recognize those who have trusted them with their lives, beginning by the woman, the mother who fathered him in loving him when they met. Being a father is receiving and accepting the honour of making happy around you. Even if it begins today, I could truly say: “Happy Father’s Day!” To love others is to love yourself; and it is in their love that you find yourself loving yourself, for you were the seed of life in the sacredness of the womb, where man meets God into his love in the heart of woman that has first mothered you. Today, something beautiful happened. A young woman gave me a gift for Father’s day. But what was most beautiful is that she found a mother in one that loves as a mother, as herself loves like a mother. The thought came to my mind that Father’s Day and Mother’s Day should be celebrated together! After all, this is how the children were born in the togetherness. So when you celebrate family day, as every seventh day will be, you will honour your mother and your father in celebrating yourself into the joy of their love. Happy Family Day, Fathers! Embrace the woman that blessed you with the opportunity to re-celebrate it today, through the children that are blessed by your unity. Thank you for reading. Happy Father’s Day! Roger Poisson |
