Greetings. What does a good shepherd tell his flock when he enters the sheepfold? Does he say, “I’m bringing you to be sheared” or “I like your fur coat.” Doesn’t this resemble taking the wool off your back so I could have a fur coat? Or “I want to be like you, to look warm and cuddly”, as you keep them warm and cuddly while you’re stripped naked. Is this a new form of pornography? Because nudity appears to be sanctity. Why do the poor look so poor when nudity seems to be the way today? Have you ever seen a stripping sheep? But the rich live of nakedness with fur coats on their back. Do they look like sheep? Perhaps it resembles the good shepherd that carries the sheep on his shoulder like we see many rich with collars of wool upon their coats, significant of their coats of armor. “I’ve got a poor as my collar because of his collar!” Racism is also in the form of rich against poor, a new form of racism that no one has noticed. Thank God that Greenpeace wants to save these little beasts from the beast! And again in this famous book the gazelle will lay beside the lion because there will be no more lyin’(as in lion and lying) but both will be lying down besides each other without tearing anything apart, just as a baby is born of parents that are bigger than them but they should live the security of the parents’ love as the leaders of nations must be parents to those who have entrusted their lives into their hands, not simply making it apparent, but by becoming real parents only will we find peace upon earth. Isn’t it strange that a shepherd has to send its flock to war while he stays behind? When have you ever seen a shepherd being guided by his flock? Isn’t this what happens at election time? They say, “You the sheep, tell us where you want us to go, we’ll go and do it.” And then they trade places by one betraying the other, the true leadership of one that we call ‘Judas’ (but this is not the Judas Project). This is: “I now send you as lambs among wolves”, where one wolf could bring down many lambs by submission, a form of sanctions. But now, the lambs are so many and the shepherds are so few, the true shepherds. It reminds me of a picture that I was asked to find, where there is fishbowl and a little kitten at the bottom. The fish was outside of the bowl, looking at his own aquarium and wondering, “How did he get in there and how come I’m out?” and that picture truly exists. I was asked to write in white: “He created the storm. He could steady the boat.” And then below: “Lord, let the lamb become the shepherd for his leaders are lost.” And this is something that we’re now living today. And the lamb will always save the shepherd. And a true shepherd will never run away from his flock nor his flock running away from him. Who is a true shepherd today? Are you? Following a direction that gives you not a sense of looking behind because by faith and leadership, you will always see the sun rise in the morning, unlike seeing mourning at the sunset. The day is divided in two, because both have a beginning. After darkness, the sun rises and after the sun rises, darkness comes to give man a break to try again and be a better half of the day that is yet to come. Just like yesterday morning. Thank you for reading. You are my sunshine, my only sunshine. Because your suffering and misery gives me to walk for you so that you may not be afraid and follow without collars and leashes because you have a good scent of the future that gets closer by the love of your shepherd through the wars of life. God bless America! |
