Love. To love means if you have anything new for people to learn, share it with them instead of leaving them to cry or die because they are lonely or have nothing to eat. If you love them, they will smile and have food to eat.

What does ‘I’m sorry’ mean for the people? Does this mean you will change your life or are you just saying ‘sorry’? Recognize that to love means to share everything. Proof that you love is that people will smile now (where they used to be hungry and cry) because now you love them and share with them. Isn’t this beautiful? Learn everyday to be in love with others – share something with them. If you don’t, then you have failed to realize that love is more than just saying, ‘I’m sorry!’

Imagine if your children were gone and you were crying. But then you learned where they are and they come home. They would see you happy instead of lonely. Someday you all recognize you are happy because the children came home instead of leaving you by yourself and your happiness will teach them to be happy.

Imagine, when you cry and somebody recognizes the sadness in you and says to you, ‘I love you!’ you instantly become happy instead of crying! What is important to learn today is that what is more important than just saying, ‘I’m sorry’ is if you truly mean it when you say, ‘I’m here to love you. Maybe before I didn’t think this way, but now I am here - truly from the heart to love you!’

When the Spirit guided you to say all together, ‘We are sorry for the past’, did you realize that the Indian people recognized you meant more than just what you said. It proves now that if you are truly honest in what you say you will never abandon or forget the Indian people - if it is truly from the heart.

I remember years ago something Chief Fontaine said that truly shocked me. ‘I prefer that you are sorry. This is more important to me than money because if you mean this from your heart, you will change your lives. I ask for your heart – not money. Just say ‘sorry’ from your heart and we will recognize you are sorry for what you did.’ I was fascinated by these words.

So continue to love each other every day. This is more important than money because then you love from the heart. Love is something for everyone - to learn and to share with each other. Love is what is important for everyone for living and to share your heart with each other. We love you this much!

Love is like the sun because you are happy and in love. The rain stands for the tears - to learn and to help people from the heart. This is why you cry because either you are happy or you lose everything because you are by yourself? When we love all together then everyone will recognize that the sun is there everyday as we share the food with each other.
