Learn From St. Francis (Learn, Instead of fighting)!
March 27, 2008
After watching a movie about the life of St. Francis on TV, I listened to the Spirit and right away I learned something fascinating. First, his father was rich. He had millions of dollars. The son identified with the poor so much that he gave away his father’s fortune – everything. His father was very angry at him and had his son arrested for stealing. He was sort of saying, ‘People don’t mean anything to me. My money is more important than them.’
Now please listen, not because I am angry with you but to listen today. Five years ago we were visited here by a nun. She told us that she couldn’t sleep at all because of the bad dreams she was having. She dreamed that she and the church lost all their money because she confessed that she and the other nuns (under the supervision of the Mother Superior and the priests) ground up rats and mice and fed them to the Indian children. She was afraid they would be sued and that they would lose all their money.
Now listen, we can prove this today. A lawyer said, ‘Today we have enough to pay for all of them (Indian people) and to hell with them after!” And nobody ever gave a damn about Indian people. The proof is also in Guadalupe, Mexico where a Native man saw the Blessed Mother (Our Lady of Guadalupe). The priest there did not believe him and ridiculed him. Yet the church made a lot of money afterward and all the while laughing at the Indian people.
Are you there in the name of God today? Can you say this? How about the priests? Or the nuns? Or the church?
The French bishop here wants to throw us out the door because we pray and because we see the saints outside. He refuses to believe in these miracles .
So Guadalupe, Mexico or St. Boniface, Manitoba - which is true? This one? But not this one? So tell us which one is important. We are not interested in fighting with you at all, but the Mass is gone today. People are not going anymore. And it’s getting worse! A priest told me personally, ‘We pray for God to help us or we will lose everything!’ And two weeks ago the priests were crying for people to change their lives and yet you (the priests) don’t feel you need to change yourself because you are full of pride. Where are the priests today who love people from their hearts and pray for you from the heart where nobody forced them to do this?
Priests today – become like Jesus! Priests, listen please. You ask us to pray for you so you will win again, but no! Pray to save the people. You gave your life to God. This is why Jesus comes to see you because you prayed. We see the Spirit here everyday. And you could see the Spirit too, if you came to see.
I asked Jesus, ‘Why a priest? Why do you love a priest more than others, more than any other religion. And Jesus answered, They gave their lives for me. That’s why I love them! But not because your mother wanted this, but because you give your life for Love.
To the priests and the nuns…
‘You gave your life for God. You say you did! Then love everybody today – the Indian people, everybody - everyday. Then you love from the heart for God, then you will know that you are with God instead of, ‘Go to hell, people! Because I am with God, so the hell with you!’ The Lord said, Clean it until the priests become true fathers and the nuns become the Blessed Mother.
Priests,
Love the children all over Canada - in the Mass! And never forget what Jesus did one day! He washed their feet. He did this! He washed their feet. Never forget to do this – wash their feet – from your heart. And never forget this. Many years ago a pope said to St. Francis, ‘You are so poor, and you love more than anybody - more than the other priests – more than the pope!’
Priests, become the same - to say, ‘I love you from the heart.’ Wash their feet – the poor, whoever they are. It is not the diamonds or the money that is important. It is the cross of Jesus that is important. Become like a father, then you prove you love from the heart.
Congratulations! We love you priests and wake up. And don’t think you are smart today, so smart that you talk to nobody. Wake up today! Be a father from the heart!
Yours truly,
Roger Poisson
