Once, a man was sinning and did not believe in God.  But at some point, he wished to change his life.  When he changed, he began to believe in God.  Then he wished to change the whole world.
A flood came and the police told the man he had to leave his home.  “I believe in God!  I’m not going to leave.  He will save me,” he said to them.  The rescue service came, telling him to get out. 
“No I won’t”, said the man.  “I believe in God and He will save me.”  The water rose higher and higher.  A third emergency crew came, telling him that he must leave.  Still he replied that God would save him.  Finally, the flood overtook him and the man drowned.  After death, he met God and was angry. 
“God,” he said, “I believed in you but you didn’t save me.  Why not?” 
God answered him.  “Three times I sent someone to save you, but you didn’t listen.  I sent you all the help that you needed.  But you didn’t listen.”

Why do the firemen, the paramedics, the rescue workers, help us?  Why do they work every day to save us?  Are you blind? 

The story is about today.  Today, people learn nothing.  Today, people judge each other.  You are too intelligent.  These people are bad ... those people are good.  Are you happy when someone changes his or her life?  At first, a man might look terrible.  But a good priest can help a man change his life.  So how can you say, “The Mass is finished.”?  You may go to university.  You may say that you also believe in God.  But why does the church look empty?  People go to Mass because they are scared.  All of you who have gone to university – teach us how to change the world. 

What is the meaning of the green grapes?  If you remember the story of Moses, you will know that he was told by God at one point in his journey with the people, to go into a city to see how people would welcome him.  Moses sent someone into the city to check it out.  Before long, he came out with baskets of grapes and good healthy food – showing them the warmth of their welcome.  
But now, you are so weak because you don’t believe in God enough.

Let’s say that the grapes had been phoney – made of wax.  It would catch the people at first but when the people realized, they would say, “This guy isn’t good.  He’s trying to trick us.  Don’t be stupid.” 

A priest once said to me, “I believe what you say because we are all finished.  Only God can save us.  I pray every day.” 
How can you believe in God and be blind at the same time?  There was a person who recognized love was so sacred that he overcame a sure death.  Do you remember the story?  It is the same today as before.  The Jewish believers had told him, “If you are truly with God, you will survive in the den with the lions.”  Daniel listened to them and he listened to God.  The hungry lions paid no attention to him and lay down while he sang to the Lord.

When you truly believe in God, you will be like Jesus who said, “I will wash your feet and then kiss them because I love you.”
Do you do the same thing?  Can you imagine, God washing your feet and kissing them?  Can you realize how God loves you from the heart?  With pride you are so blind that you can’t see anything.  You will lose yourself and be unable to even survive.  Today, learn from the Spirit and do not feel embarrassed.  Learn forever. 

Years ago, there was a situation involving a big truck that was unable to get under a bridge.  Everyone was standing around, trying to figure out what to do.  “I know what to do!”  a little boy kept saying.  Finally a policeman said, “O.K. tell us your idea and then get on home.”  The little boy told them, “Just let some of the air out of the tires.”  The others were too proud to say that they learned something that day.

Why are we writing, “Once Upon a Time and Now”?   Today, the Spirit is more powerful than ever, for now and forever.  You can live forever.  This is not an idea from religious people that you hear from, and then say, “So what?” You will truly recognize the sacred and what it is.

Is it like a secret?  Secret or sacred?  Sacred or secret?  When you realize that what is very powerful is sacred, does it mean you are to tell nobody?  Or are you to teach?  In loving each other, everyone is sacred.  It is for all people to love.

Many years ago when I was a little boy, I learned a lesson from my mother.  We were very poor.  But my mother would say, “I love you so much ...” and she would take candies from her pocket and give them to me.  “Don’t tell anyone,” she would tell me.  Then of course, I would tell my brothers and sister, to show off.  But when I told them, I found out that she had done the same for all of them. 

Today – all of you who have been in university – is the Mass boring?  It’s empty.  If you know so much about the world, you would see that 98% who go to Mass are scared.  It is not because they love.   But still, people search and pray for love.

Today, the Spirit teaches the world... “I want them to learn from Me forever.”
I learn forever now. 
He said, “Teach people to recognize Me.”  O.K.  I will work for You. 

Love is so sacred.  Why today do you feel like it’s Christmas?  You could bring out the candles, make the room dark.  (It’s not because you’re saving on electricity.)  Christmas is always the same.  You recognize love, the candles smell beautiful, and you feel love all around you.

Go to school.  Teach the young that you were blind.  Say you were sorry.  Maybe you were too weak or too tough.  I know you are sad about this.  But now, don’t be blind anymore.  Come home.  I wish to kiss your feet.  Come.  Recognize who I am.  My Father teaches me how important you are for your children.  How blessed you are. 

Congratulations.  Born again.  Are you born again?  Don’t be blind anymore.  You love so much in your heart that your children become born again.  Why?  Your temperature gets so high that you become liquid and you realize you are born again.  You recognize love so much that you forget to sin.  Your love is so powerful that you become like liquid.  The two together become one.  The temperature is so high that you become very pure.  You become born again.  Your past is burned.  That’s why you die.  But in your heart you find that you become one.  A woman and man become newborn – born again to survive and live forever.  How sacred.  Congratulations.  Learn, but it is more important to recognize how sacred you are.  You realize today that you are more important than you were in the past because you are born again.  When you fall in love so much, you look like a baby.

I remember an old man who couldn’t walk.  He said to me, “Pray for me because I can’t walk.”  There were a lot of people at the meeting.  I told the woman beside him to sit down and to watch her husband.  I asked the man, “What was it like when you first met your wife?”  Right away, the man got up and danced around, “We danced all the time!” he said.  Love is so powerful.  He forgot that he couldn’t walk.   

What I say is not a dream.  No.  I learn from the Spirit.  It is very normal for God to teach us to humble ourselves because we all make mistakes.  You will learn forever. What does university mean?  The future is now.  Can you see the future?  No.  Then go to school.  Learn forever.  God bless you.  Please, don’t think you are so smart.  It looks so terrible today, but what have you done? 

The Spirit says, “I love you.  You married me.  But, now, learn to love.  It is very sacred to love.  Without food, you can’t survive.  A true father is a true Father.  The Spirit and the Father are one.  Recognize how sacred you are.  God bless you.”
